1st Carnforth Scout Troop was formed in 1928 and have had an active presence in the town for many, many years. This local Scout group has active Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections and membership continues to grow as the team of dedicated leaders continue to provide new experiences and adventures for its members.

Project Goal

The 1st Carnforth Scout Group already had an existing website based on the Joomla platform. The website was somewhat dated and in need of a complete overhaul to bring it up to date and add the functionality the group required.

Project Description

We re-designed their dated old website on a modern Content Management System (CMS), allowing them to easily update their website content, publish latest news, events and activities as well as linking it all to their active presence on the popular social networks.
