MeDrive have been teaching people to drive and providing driving lessons in Chester, Buckley, Ellesmere Port and Connah’s Quay for over 25 years. Their driving instructors are highly qualified (Grade A standard) and have a minimum of 10 years experience in driving tuition.

Project Description

MeDrive had an existing website which was built on the Uxella CMS. There were a large number of fundamental issues which were hindering the website ranking well in the search engine results and thus not generating as much traffic or enquiries as would be desired. We started with a blank canvas, and re-imagine the website from scratch with an aim to develop a website that met modern design trends and provided an informative, easy to navigate website that was both mobile friendly and search engine friendly. By adding a new dimension to the website in the form of eCommerce and building the site on the popular WordPress platform, users will be able to book and pay for driving lessons online.

Project Goal

To create a modern, clean, fresh website for the driving school that would allow adhere to modern website design trends and best practices. The website had to reflect the professional image of the company and allow users to book driving lessons and courses online as well as being an informative, useful resource for learner drivers.

Client Feedback

I first heard about Tristan through a friend as he was working on a new website for her. Helen was singing his praises very highly, which let’s be honest, we don’t hear too often in this day and age. I already had a website for my business, one of those off the shelf generic fill in and upload type websites with little functionality or character. The same as everyone else in the industry. My Google ranking was stuck at the bottom of page three. I met Tristan for the first time and knew straight away that he would be building my new website for me. He was down to earth with no big over the top jargon. Tristan listened intently to what I had to say. I found his input creative and inspirational through the brainstorming process. A week later he had taken my simple set of thoughts and turned them into an authentic personal representation of my business. Working with Tristan was so easy and flexible. Monday to Friday Nine to five is not in his dictionary. For example, Tristan was easily reachable outside of normal office hours, even over the festive period! My new site launched on the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve 2017. Within three days, we are seeing positive movement up the Google rankings and cannot believe the results. But what we wanted so much is the type of business the new website would attract. We have had three new clients, and they are all in a different league altogether than that we had become used to. Tristan will be an invaluable part of the team as we press forward with new ideas and grow our company from strength to strength. I would recommend Tristan to everyone I know (except for the competition!).
