Hospice at Home
Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland is a charity providing free palliative care and support to patients and their families within their own homes. Their work spans a wide geographical area across North and East Cumbria and supports people at some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
The website plays a vital role in communicating services, supporting fundraising and helping people find the right information quickly.
The Problem
The existing website was very dated, difficult to navigate and hard to manage. Important information about services, referrals, events and donations was not easy to find, and the overall structure made the site feel overwhelming for users at an already sensitive time.
From a technical point of view, the site wasn’t performing well in search results and didn’t provide the flexibility needed to support online fundraising or event promotion.
The Solution
We redesigned the website from the ground up using WordPress and WooCommerce, creating a modern, clean and easy to use platform that puts clarity and accessibility first.
