Jerry Holmes School of Motoring is a long established driving school based in Broadstairs, Kent, offering lessons across Thanet as well as instructor training.
The brief was clear. Keep the professionalism Jerry was known for, but fix the technical and structural issues that were quietly holding the website back.
The Problem
The existing WordPress site looked reasonable on the surface, but under the hood it had a long list of problems. Poor heading structure, duplicate URLs, broken links and inconsistent page setup were all affecting search visibility and user experience.
Local pages weren’t ranking as they should, enquiries were lower than expected and the site lacked a clear journey for learners who just wanted to understand prices, areas covered and how to get started.
