M.D. Hanafin & Son supplies timber, fencing and related products to trade and retail customers. Their existing website wasn't supporting the way customers needed to browse and buy, so we rebuilt it around a fully integrated WooCommerce store designed to turn the website into a genuine online sales channel.
The Project
Moving Beyond A Basic Brochure Website
M.D. Hanafin & Son came to Infinity3 with an existing website that had become dated, awkward to navigate and increasingly disconnected from the way the business actually operated.
Most importantly, it wasn't equipped to sell products online effectively. For a business supplying timber and fencing products to both trade and retail customers, simply displaying information wasn't enough.
The new website needed to make a substantial product range easy to explore, provide customers with clear pricing and product information and create a straightforward route from finding the right product through to ordering and payment.
The Approach

We rebuilt the website using WordPress with WooCommerce at its core, transforming it from a traditional brochure site into a fully functioning online store.
Products were organised into a clearer catalogue structure, making timber, fencing and related products easier to find and compare. The buying journey was simplified from product discovery through to checkout, with secure online payments and delivery options configured around different shipping zones and rates.
Behind the scenes, the new setup gave the M.D. Hanafin & Son team much greater control over products, pricing and website content, providing a platform they could manage day to day and expand as the product range developed.
