Parkside Holidays is a guest house near the Lake District offering comfortable accommodation, excellent food and a varied programme of themed breaks, events and short holidays. Having previously built the Greycourt Holidays website, we worked with the client again to evolve the brand and create a more polished digital presence for its next chapter.
The Project
Evolving An Established Website Into A New Brand
This wasn't our first project with the business. Infinity3 had previously designed and built the Greycourt Holidays website, providing the foundation for its online presence.
As the business evolved, the time came for the brand and website to move forward too. Greycourt Holidays became Parkside Holidays, creating an opportunity to rethink how the accommodation, facilities and growing programme of themed breaks were presented online.
The new website needed to feel more polished and contemporary while retaining the welcoming character of the business. It also needed to give the team greater flexibility to promote changing events and holiday experiences throughout the year.
The Approach
Designing Around The Guest Experience
We designed and developed a completely new WordPress website, taking what we'd learned from the previous site and creating a cleaner, more flexible experience around the new Parkside Holidays identity.
Accommodation and facilities are presented clearly, while dedicated listings make themed breaks, events and speciality holidays easy to discover and explore. Strong calls to action provide straightforward routes for visitors who want to enquire or book.
The overall design was kept calm, inviting and easy to navigate, reflecting the experience Parkside wants to provide its guests while giving the team a practical website they can update as new breaks and events are introduced.
