Create Custom Invoice Layouts with AI

You can now design custom invoice layouts using the Layout AI Builder directly in the Infinity3 Platform. Describe the invoice you want and AI generates a layout, then you can fine tune any element in a visual editor and publish the design for use on customer invoices.

Why it matters

Custom layouts let you present invoices that match your brand and business needs, without writing code or relying on a single fixed template. Use different layouts for clients, services or billing types, preview designs before sending, and keep a history of changes so you can revert if needed.

What you can do

• Generate a layout from a simple prompt, for example, describe logo placement, columns, tables and payment details.
• Upload or describe an existing invoice and let AI recreate it.
• Manually adjust style and content in the visual builder, add or remove elements, align items and set fonts and colours.
• Save restore points automatically with each AI change, and undo edits from the toolbar.
• Manage layouts in one place: preview, download, clone, rename or delete, switch grid and list views, and sort or search by name or last updated date.
• See who created, edited, published or copied a layout in the history view.

How layouts work with invoices

• Pick a published layout when creating an invoice. The customer sees that design on the invoice preview.
• Layouts lock once an invoice is sent or partially paid, preserving the design used at the time of sending.
• If you delete a layout, invoices already sent keep showing the original design. Draft invoices that used a deleted layout revert to the default layout.

How to use it

To find the Layout AI Builder in the Infinity3 Platform, go to Payments, open the Invoices & Estimates dropdown, then select Layouts. Create a layout, generate one with AI, or upload an existing example. After publishing a layout, you can select it when creating invoices.
